Reading Luke in a Time of Decision

On Saturday 24 April, approximately 150 participants from parishes around Dublin gathered for a Conference on Reading St. Luke in a time of Decision.

The Conference was organized by St. Patrick’s College in Maynooth and the Office of Evangelisation.

Dr. Séamus O Connell led the delegates into a renewed reading of St. Luke and life-making Word. The keynote speaker was Fr Santiago Guijarro Oporto who is Professor of New Testament Studies at the Faculty of Theology at the Pontifical University of Salamanca.

The Conference formed part of the ongoing programme of evangelisation and the reading of St. Luke’s Gospel in the Archdiocese of Dublin.
